Compass Regional Training Center is dedicated to preparing the way for dozens of passionate, committed Christ followers to be equipped forerunners, (harbingers of hope), who know their God and make Him known. 

We desire to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all for the glory of God. 1 Cor.10:31.

Compass Regional Training Center is closely linked to Elgin’s House of Prayer which is an interdenominational prayer ministry. Both the House of Prayer and Compass Regional Training Center are not of themselves, a local church. We encourage our staff, interns, students and attendees to be members of local fellowships and to continue to partner with the local congregations throughout this region and beyond.

Purpose: To know God and make Him known through praise, prayer and proclamation

Vision: We believe that knowing God intimately, living out the two greatest commandments according to Matthew 22:37-39 are foundational for ministry. Empowered by the Holy Spirit we seek to know God and make Him known.
